Windows Balloons

Replace the default Windows system balloons with Growl notifications.

Below you can see what a normal Windows balloon notification looks like and then the same notification routed to Growl via PhonyBalloony.



After you install this plugin, you must configure it to re-route the system balloons. To do so, follow these steps:
  1. Open the Growl settings panel and click on the 'Network' tab
  2. Click the green + button on the right side of the window (under 'Subscribe to notifications from other computers')
  3. In the window that opens up, find the entry that says 'Route Windows system balloons through Growl' and click it
  4. Click the 'Save' button
